Workspaces

Workspaces are the top-level organizational unit in tour-flow. They represent a team, company, or organization.

Creating a Workspace

When you first sign up, you'll create your first workspace. You can create additional workspaces later from the workspace switcher.

Workspace Settings

Feature Modes

A workspace can operate in three modes:

Tours Only

Best for tour managers and production companies focused on live events.

• Tours, events, crew, travel days, off days
• Document management
• Notifications

Projects Only

Best for teams that need Kanban boards without tour management.

• Project boards with drag-and-drop cards
• Team collaboration with roles
• Comments and subtasks

Unified (Tours + Projects)

Best for organizations that manage both touring logistics and project work.

• All tour management features
• All project management features
• Unified navigation and workspace

Team Members

Invite team members to your workspace by email. Each member gets:

• Access to tours and/or projects based on workspace settings
• Role-based permissions (Admin or Member)
• Their own notification preferences

Permissions

Granular permissions are available for more specific access control:

• canViewTours / canEditTours
• canViewProjects / canEditProjects

Switching Workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces, use the workspace switcher in the sidebar to move between them. Each workspace has its own tours, projects, members, and settings.
